A strong and lightweight building material used for the construction of wall blocks and ceiling slabs. It is a mixture of cement, lime, grated quartz sand and water. The propellant aluminium powder adds gas to the mixture. This process produces a solid, resilient and insulating monolithic building material. Gas concrete blocks are not comparably resilient in comparison to limestone blocks, for example. They often require stiffening or supporting load-bearing structures. It is used in large block formats on the construction site in an adhesive process.
